What our Guests are Saying!

“My favorite hotel of a two-week holiday”
I loved this hotel. It looked good, had loads of character and I loved the 'movie' theme. We stopped in the same room as Frank Sinatra had and I went along to watch the western in the barn. The rooms are pretty standard motel rooms and were very clean. The pool is also good and the Breakfast is worth paying for.

“One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.”
This is a great little hotel. The rooms were clean and it was wide open not like other hotels when you are in a building. They have the old barn playhouse that plays old western movies in it and is just a great hotel. They have great service and staff.

“Lovely Funky Clean Classic Great Motel”
Great location near Zion and Bryce. Great food in the hotel and in town. Stayed 3 days. We wouldn't stay anywhere else for our hiking adventures in the area. Great value. One-of-a-kind.

“Will Always Stay at Parry Lodge when in Kanab”
The Parry Lodge is the gem of Kanab. If you like history, esp. that of Old Hollywood, you will really enjoy it. The property is quaint with an Old Barn showing Western movies nightly. The atmosphere sends me back to the days of drive-in movies and simpler times. The pool area is beautiful (I've always found the pool to be spotless) and love sitting by it late at night when everyone else is asleep. Just me and the stars. The rooms as mentioned below have the names of Old Western stars who have stayed there during filming. They are still dated and hopefully they will someday redo them without losing the charm or the history of the place. I am never a fan of comforters in hotel rooms and hope that they will follow the direction of the newer hotels that offer layered sheets without the comforter. The rooms definitiely need updating but the rates are extremely reasonable. I shall return.

“Great Value & Food in Historic Lodge”
After a mix-up in our stay at the Quail Park Lodge we ended up at the Perry Lodge. They accommodated us for two nights and were very nice about our last-minute choice. We had a room in the main building which was HUGE. The cottages named after old time movie and western stars were quaint but small. The pool looked very nice and clean and the barn showing free old Western movies filmed in Kanab was charming and fun. The $5.99 breakfast buffet was fantastic with many choices and excellent quality in the sunny dining room, featuring yummy types of pork products--two types of sausage AND good quality bacon and a dreamy selection of carbs---hash browns, little light pancakes, biscuits, and bread pudding! Sure the rooms could use updating (I was re-decorating them in my mind :)) and the towels could be larger and thicker but for $75 a night this was a GREAT value, clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

“Fun place to stay”
We enjoyed our stay at Parry Lodge a week ago. The staff was extremely friendly and personable. We felt like "we had come home". The food we ate there was delicious and our rooms were 50's style, but very clean and adequate. The barn with the movies was a treat. We watched three movies while we were there and ate lots of popcorn! This is a place we would like to revisit in the future.

“We had a great stay”
This is a much better hotel than I expected. We had planned on an overnight with a dog from Best Friends and the hotel has rooms where you can do this. Unfortunately we didn't get to Best Friends in time. But I just wanted to mention that they are pet friendly. The hotel is an old-fashioned motel type place with the old Barn in the middle of the back lot. The room was a little small, but the bed was comfortable and the place was quiet. We had breakfast included which was great and well done. The staff was very helpful and friendly and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Of course all the movie history makes this a very special place to visit and you need to give yourself time to look at all the photographs of people who've stayed here. The town was walkable and we enjoyed the Rewind Diner just across the street for dinner. We'd certainly stay here again if we needed to.
